I saw this video this week at a staff meeting. It caught the attention of all teachers, assistants, administrators, maintenance, you name it, we loved it. For the first time at a staff meeting, I didn't catch a co-worker or myself writing notes, playing with their phone, laughing, sleeping, etc (sounds familiar). I LOVED this video. Do You Believe?

That is a pretty inspirational video. Many of the things that the young man is preaching should already be known by any teacher that is currently teaching. Sometimes teacher need the extra inspiration that resemble videos like this one. This is very similar to what occurred at our teacher retreat last spring.
The principal had each student make a list of their three favorite teachers. After his list was compiled, he asked selected students to write a letter of appreciation to one of the teachers on their list. I was shocked at some of the reactions of teachers when they received their letters. Some teachers that one may have thought did not have a heart were in tears. This video shadows that day at my school a few months ago. I am going to forward this video onto my principal. Thanks.

My superintendent showed us this video at our district wide meeting. I thought it was pretty awesome. Usually people aren't paying attention during his videos, but this definitely got everyone's attention. Talk to you later.
